Maple Leaf silver coins are produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. They feature the iconic Maple Leaf on the obverse with the reverse portrait being either King Charles from 2023 or Queen Elizabeth prior to that.  Minted in 0.999 fine silver, 25 1-ounce coins are containt in a yellow topped plastic tube. 

The sugar maple leaf has been a prominent symbol of Canada for centuries. Indigenous peoples in Canada have long revered the sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum) for its sweet sap, which they would boil down into maple syrup and sugar. The distinctive five-pointed leaf of the sugar maple became an important motif in the art, jewelry, and regalia of many First Nations.
