The Britannia is produced by the Royal British Mint in 0.9999 Fine gold. It is one of the most beautiful gold coins in the world. The Britannia comes in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10th oz versions. The coins are minted proof-like which adds to their beauty and appeal.

Since their inception in 1987, the obverse has had a portrait of Britannia, with a trident in one hand representing strength and an olive branch in the right denoting peace. On the reverse has been the monarch at the time of issuance. Coins made prior to 2023 have the queen on the reverse while from 2024 on it is the King. Britannias have a small security feature on the lower left obverse to deter counterfeiting.
